How to take a good photo of your pet

Take your subject from the side view as top views end up with animals with big heads and small bodies!  Make subject interesting and use light natural light to get bright and clear images.

Ideally, the photo should be digital it is much easier to enlarge an image on screen to get into fine detail. The digital image should be a minimum of 2mb.

Picture 1: shows a good bright and clear definition and a fun subject.

Same cat*... different pose!

Picture 2: not a good photo, the eyes are flashed out and the cat is too small in the frame, detail would be hard to achieve.
